KCTCS has more than 7,500 full and part-time employees. The open position, outlined below, is located in Versailles, Kentucky.
Position Description:
Assist colleges with accreditation related to SACSCOC as well as any program or discipline-specific accreditation requirements. Improve effectiveness of KCTCS initiatives through coordination of policies and procedures related to academic programs and processes.

Major Responsibilities/Duties:
•Coordinates and provides support and service to the colleges for regional accreditation (SACSCOC) as well as national accreditation ( NLN CNEA, ABET, etc). For SACSCOC, coordinate the SACSCOC Peer Team, manage required documentation through the SACSCOC SharePoint site and maintain files (for each college and the System Office) containing all official communications with SACSCOC as well as associated documents. Interpret standards and communicate any changes in SACSCOC standards, policies, procedures, and college status with Cabinet, college leadership, SACSCOC Peer Team members, and other stakeholders. Coordinate with SACSCOC college liaisons to develop notification to SACSCOC in advance of substantive changes and program development in accordance with SACSCOC standards. Assist colleges with questions regarding the accreditation process and standardsand in development of reports requested by SACSCOC including SACSCOC Institutional Profile, SACSCOC Prospectuses, Interim Reports, and Reaffirmation documents and review drafts for errors of fact and to provide comments to strengthen the documents.
•Collaborates with academic programs and general education around policies, procedures, and requirements for ongoing program improvement. The duties of this position include consulting with faculty, administration, and staff at the local college and System Office level to plan and conduct training around curriculum design and program effectiveness. Attend appropriate workshops and meetings related to program policies and effectiveness. Manage reporting for use at multiple levels of KCTCS and to support accreditations under SACSCOC. Serve as the Principal Investigator and manage the Perkins Assessment grant budget. Works with ORPA and TS regarding the technical end-of-program assessments, appropriate cut-off scores, and process for reporting the data in PeopleSoft consistently across the KCTCS colleges.
•Provides guidance to KCTCS colleges in the CPE Program review process. All KCTCS technical and general education programs are reviewed on a five year rotating schedule. Serves as liaison to the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education (CPE) regarding program review. Determines annual submission schedule for program reviews. Collects proposals and makes recommendations to the Chancellor prior to submission to CPE. Verifies all CPE Program Reviews are completed yearly by CPE deadlines and posts the final documents in CPE’s system.
•Provides guidance and support for the KCTCS Senate Rules development and approval process. Prepares the Rules agenda for each Cycle in conjunctionPo with the CRC and Council support. Staffs the Rules meetings, and completes necessary edits, corrections, minutes at the Rules and Council meetings. Posts all Rules submissions as dictated by the yearly cycle calendar. Updates the KCTCS Senate Faculty Rules on an annual basis.
•Serves as support on workgroups or ad hoc groups as the need arises. Serves on System Office committees for KCTCS initiatives.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in related field and three (3) years of position-related experience, or equivalent.
Preferred Competencies:
Master’s degree in related field and five (5) years of position-related experience, or equivalent
KY law requires state and national pre-employment background checks as a condition of employment. Initial review of applicants will begin on August 29, 2017.
