Qualifications: 

Minimum of two (2) years college-level secretarial studies or one to three (1-3) years of proven experience and effective customer service/administrative support.  Excellent communications, interpersonal, and organizations skills.  Computer skills required.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office software required, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Operate copier, shredder, other office equipment

Summary:

To serve as secretary and provide administrative support to the Allied Health program.

Specific Responsibilities: 

Enter applicants into the jenzebar system, scan documents into on base, contact potential students.  Type letters, send documents to providers and students as deemed necessary by allied health staff.  Receive payments from students, give receipts and take deposits to the business office.  Maintain inventory of supplies for office and classroom.  Create and update student files  Participate in the promotion of the allied health programs of the Technology Training Center  Provide outstanding customer service  Receive incoming calls and greet visitors to the office  Sort all incoming and outgoing mail and distribute accordingly  Format and prepare correspondence  Data entry  Perform duties as requested by supervisor     Stocking supplies received  Shred files after 5-year requirement  Travel to regional sites for delivery of supplies or to assist director as deemed necessary  Prepare new student folders and check folders for accuracy of required documentation  Assist the tech center director & barbering program with administrative support when needed
