CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – College Goal Sunday is an opportunity for high school students and their families to come and file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on the campus of Campbellsville University. It is an annual event that provides free, professional help completing the financial aid application. College Goal Sunday will take place Sunday, Jan. 29 at 2 p.m. in the Banquet Hall of the Badgett Academic Support Center, located at 110 University Drive, Campbellsville.

Paula Caldwell, coordinator of undergraduate admissions, said, “College Goal Sunday is a great opportunity for students and parents to get help filing their FAFSA. This is especially helpful for those parents who are putting a child through college for the first time. Filing the FAFSA, and filing it early, is one of the most important things families can do to help reduce the amount they owe out-of-pocket.”

Post-secondary education increases the chances of getting an interesting job, earning good money, being a community leader and serving as a role model. Hundreds of volunteers, teachers, business and community leaders and college administrators across the state are willing to assist you in the application process for financial aid, according to the website.
