CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville University student Madeline Hahn, of Cox’s Creek, Ky., will showcase her artwork at the Campbellsville University Pence-Chowning Art Gallery. The exhibit will be displayed from March 21 until April 1 with a reception on March 31 starting at 3:30 p.m.
Hahn’s exhibit will include several forms of art including ceramics, sculptures, paintings, graphic design, pen and ink, and prismacolor.
Hahn attended Nelson County High School and previously had her artwork displayed at the Student Jury Art Show.
“Art is a form of expression, and a passion of awe. It opens the door to the imagination, opening the eyes and mind to the viewer and letting them have a brief escape from the chaos of their own world. I have kept my artwork close to me for so long but I think it’s time to give people a place to let their mind wonder through my pieces” Hahn said.
The Pence Chowning Art Gallery is open during the following times: Mondays from 9 a.m. to 10:50 a.m., 1 p.m. to 1:50 p.m., 3 to 3:50 p.m., and 5 to 5:50 p.m.; Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 11:50 a.m., 1 p.m. to 2:50 p.m., and 4 p.m. to 4:50 p.m.; Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 9:50 a.m., 12 p.m. to 2:50 p.m., and 5 p.m. to 5:50 p.m.; Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 11:50 a.m., 1 p.m. to 1:50 p.m., and 4 to 4:50 p.m.; and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5:50 p.m.
