CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville University’s Tiger Health Clinic has officially expanded its hours of operation. The clinic will be open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with an exception of being closed for lunch from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 522 Hoskins Avenue, Campbellsville, Ky.

According to Campbellsville University’s website, the Tiger Health Clinic, a part of Taylor Regional Hospital, is a health center on Campbellsville University’s campus focused on providing high quality care for the community of Campbellsville and the surrounding communities. This service is available to Campbellsville University students, faculty and staff as well as their families.

Heidi L. Lee is the in-house APRN. She has worked as a nurse practitioner at Taylor Regional Hospital in the following areas: urgent care, urology and walk-in clinic. She has been a nurse practitioner since 1995 and from 1980 to 1995 was an RN.

In 1980 she received her Associate of Science degree in Nursing from Henry Ford Community College. In 1986 Lee received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee and in 1995 she obtained her Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner and Master of Science in Nursing from Wayne State University.

Candy Condor is the in-house RN and has spent 19 years in the medical field and has been with the clinic for the last four months. “I like meeting new people,” Condor said. Becky Curry is serving as the clinic’s receptionist. “I like the diversity scene on the campus,” she said. The staff at the clinic provide an array of services and testing including:

Women’s health (including pap and pelvic exams); wound care and lacerations (including sutures and closure); sports physicals; school physicals; CDL exams; acute and chronic illness; influenza testing; strep; pregnancy; blood sugar; urinalysis; and wound care and sensitivity.

The clinic accepts cash, credit/debit card transactions and most insurance plans. With a patient’s permission, the clinic can send a summary of the patient’s visit to their primary health provider. Before visiting the clinic, it is recommended that a patient contact his or her insurance company and verify they will cover what service is being sought. Checking with an insurance provider will ensure a patient is aware of any out-of-pocket costs.

Before visiting the clinic, patients need to bring a copy of their insurance card, proof of ID and a valid form of payment at the time of service.

All new patients need to download the new patient forms at https://bit.ly/2JGyqWV and fill them out prior to arrival. For more information visit https://bit.ly/2W8lsrJ or call (270) 789-3410.
