CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville University’s tenure and promotion committee and the academic committee of the board of trustees has granted tenure to Dr. Marilyn Goodwin, associate professor of Education and assistant chair of Early Childhood Education, on April 16.

Goodwin has taught as an assistant professor of Education at Campbellsville University since 2010.

Before Campbellsville University, Goodwin worked as a consultant for the Kentucky Baptist Convention’s Preschool and Children’s Ministry Department from 2004 until 2012. She also worked as the early care and education trainer’s credential for the Cabinet for Health and Family Services from 2004 to 2012.

She received her Ph.D. in Education from Capella University. She also received her Master of Divinity in Christian Education with an emphasis in preschool and children’s ministry in 1996 as well as her bachelor of arts degree from Campbellsville University in 1993.

She graduated from Taylor County High School in 1989.

She is the daughter of Gaye and Garry Bault, of Columbia, Ky., and is the wife of Michael Goodwin, and they have one child, Micah Goodwin.
