Job Functions
- Establish and cultivate relationships with target employers and organizations to enhance student/alumni employment opportunities.
- Manages the outreach initiatives of the Office of Academic & Career Services by developing marketing strategies and materials, coordinating job fairs and other employer related events, and supervise the Job Location and Development Coordinator.
- Oversee and conduct resume critiques, mock interviewing, and other in-class and out-of-class career readiness services in conjunction with student Peer Career Mentors.
- Collaborate with University Advancement to develop sponsorship programs and fundraising efforts for the Office of Academic & Career Services.
- Supports the success of the office functions by completing all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies, or a field related to Student Affairs or Human Resource Management required
Minimum Experience
- Three years of experience in a college or university Career Center required, including experience with employer relations and job fair organization
Minimum Licensure and Certification
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
