As a Patient Sitter/CNA, and under the supervision of the nursing staff, you will provide compassionate personal and clinical care to patients at Kindred Hospital. In collaboration with the hospital staff, the CNA plays a vital role in the recovery process for critically ill and medically complex patients. Location: Kindred Hospital, Louisville, KY Hours of Operations – 12 hour shifts Monday through Sunday 7 AM to 7 PM 7 PM to 7 AM Position Overview: Assist patients with daily activities (grooming, bathing, feeding…) Assist the Nursing staff with duties including administering patient vitals Assist nursing staff in creating, maintaining, and providing a safe environment Immediately report all changes in the condition of patient/client to the appropriate supervisor and other staff members Follow all required policies to avoid the transmission of illness by correctly wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including masks and gloves Alert nursing staff immediately to any signs of patient distress or equipment malfunction Adhere to confidentiality and patients’ rights policy as outlined in the healthcare facility’s HIPAA policies and procedures Work independently and as part of the team Attend required healthcare facility training and orientation programs Perform other duties as assigned What’s in it for you? $17.00/hour (paid lunch breaks, and paid breaks); plus, $1.00 differential/hour for nights/weekends Accrued Paid Time Off (PTO) Advancement Opportunities Reward and Recognition Program Annual Merit-Based Pay Raises Referral Program Available benefits for Full-time shifts only!
