TITLE: Loan Operations Manager
REPORTS TO: Chairman, President and CEO

Position Summary: This position is responsible for the overall loan operations management and oversight of the consumer and commercial loan files. This includes reporting functions, post-closing document review and imaging. Design and administer systems processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timely processing. Communicate with bank department managers/lenders to promote efficient and correct workflow and establish positive working relationships across the organization. Ensure successful audits for Loan Operations responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain and develop a sound foundation in the areas of commercial and consumer loan documentation. This
includes keeping abreast of changing legal situations, industry trends and product specific issues.
• Monitor and manage daily loan operations processing to ensure that all internal and external deadlines are met.
• Manage the post-closing functions to ensure all security documents are accurate and the Bank is secured.
• Ensure accuracy and proper use of tracking reports for key information such as title lien filings, UCCs, recorded mortgages, insurance, and flood monitoring.
• Provide guidance and assistance to the lenders on the preparation of commercial and consumer loan documents and credit/security documents.
• Ensures applicable policies and procedures are accurate and complete. Engages in periodic reviews and
facilitates an environment of constant improvement.
• Oversee flood monitoring.
• Oversee the imaging and retention/purging of loan files, including secured documents and legal instruments, and ensure they are properly imaged for the review of lenders and audit personnel.
• Oversee the execution of CECL model documentation and execution of controls; manage critical vendor
relationships, including the software used that supports the Bank’s CECL model.
• Ensure that the necessary management reporting tools are maintained to accurately measure and report
timeliness and quality of service levels, production, and error statistics.
• Maintain core system loan product specifications and overall operational parameters and serve as the loan
system subject matter expert. This includes all loan product core operating systems.
• Review all core processing updates for impact upon loan operations processes and communicate changes as needed to all affected bank personnel.
• Ability to work various schedules and on Saturdays as needed.
• Ability to travel to other branch locations as needed.

Additional Responsibilities
• Establish and update procedures for loan operations functions and communicate changes as needed to
appropriate bank personnel.
• Correct loan payment errors as needed.
• Calculate loan payoff amounts as requested.
• Serve as a resource for complex matters and quickly address escalated service issues.
• Assists with external examiners and/or auditors during bank reviews or examinations. Monitors appropriate corrective measures ensuring necessary changes or recommendations are achieved as directed.
• Support senior management in developing and executing strategic plans.
• Represents The Peoples Bank at Bank events and in the community.
• Perform such duties as may be required from time to time for the overall management and operation of the Bank.

Educational/Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
• Minimum of three years of related experience in the banking/financial services industry.
• Thorough knowledge of administrative, documentation, and servicing procedures.
• Understand the issues and concerns of outside regulatory bodies and their impact on the loan operations
department.
• Possess a working knowledge of bank Loan Policies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft, Word, and Excel.
• Self-motivated, detail oriented, and the ability to multi-task.
• Equivalent work experience may be substituted for education requirement.
