Alumnus Lonnie Turner to be on ‘Dialogue on Public Issues’

 Campbellsville University’s John Chowning, vice president for church and external relations and executive assistant to the president of CU, right, interviews Lonnie Turner, a long-term Baptist missionary working in Zambia and living in South Africa with his wife, Fran, on his show “Dialogue on Public Issues” on Campbellsville University’s WLCU. They head up a group called Partners in Progress that focuses on providing water, agricultural training, education, building of a obstetrics clinic in rural Zambia, sports ministry, etc. Turner is a 1971 graduate of CU and pastored Baptist churches in the area years ago. The show will air Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012 at 8 a.m.; Monday, Jan. 23 at 1:30 p.m.; and Wednesday, Jan. 25 at 6:30 p.m. The show is aired on Campbellsville’s cable channel 10 and is also aired on WLCU FM 88.7 at 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 22.
