Nadia Molugova, founder and director of the Florence Classical Arts Academy and the New Renaissance Foundation in Florence, Italy, will visit Campbellsville University Sept. 2-5.

Some of her work will be displayed with Taren Morse, assistant professor of art, whose exhibit ends Sept. 6. Morse’s work is in The Pence-Chowning Art Gallery, 205 University Drive, Campbellsville.

Students from the Florence Classical Arts Academy will have their work on display while Molugova is at Campbellsville University.

Her trip to Campbellsville will be her first visit to the United States.

Molugova is a graduate from Grekov Art College where she obtained a National Diploma in Graphic Design.

She also graduated in DTS and SBS courses at University of Nations, Rostov-on-Don branch, received
a Diploma of Brera Academy of Fine Arts, Milan (“Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera”), and received her

Master’s degree program at the “Academy of Fine Arts,” Florence, Italy (“Accademia di Belle Arti”).

Molugova has had exhibitions in Russia, Ukraine and Europe and has, also, obtained major experience in teaching in graphic design, painting, drawing and composition.

Morse said, “We are in the process of building a relationship with the Florence Arts Academy so that our students will have the opportunity to study in one of the most iconic creative cities in the world and receive credit hours for that course.”

“This summer several of our art and design students went to Italy to live and study at the Florence Classical Arts Academy for a month,” he said. “It was very encouraging to me personally for our students to receive this type of creative experience at this creative level. This is a first for our department.”

Molugova is the graphic designer at the University of Nations, Art Courses Director at the University of Nations, Rostov-on-Don branch, Russia, Art Courses Director at the University of Nations, Kiev branch, Ukraine and Art Courses Director at the University of Nations, St. Petersburg, Russia.
