MVM, Inc. is  currently looking for BILINGUAL CASE MANAGERS for an upcoming program that they serve. Job Summary:

The Case Manager will be primarily responsible for all case management activities for assigned field office and participants. Additional responsibilities include developing individual service plans and utilizing appropriate community resources to support participants to meet compliance with immigration related requirements. All while maintaining a high level of confidentiality for daily business decisions and operational functions.

Essential Functions:

  • Handle all required case management activities for assigned participants for ICE ERO.
  • Coordinate continuity of care for participant upon their release into the program
  • Serve as the primary POC for the participant during their time in the program
  • Provide program orientation information and instructions to participant upon their release to include reporting instructions and phone number/email address for questions
  • Conduct screening for human trafficking indicators and other vulnerabilities of each assigned participant
  • Maintain communication and contact with each assigned participant to include verification of address during regular contacts.
  • Develop a tailored service plan for each participant for their time in the program
  • In collaboration with Case Aides, track court hearing dates for assigned participants and notify ICE ERO with any hearing outcomes
  • Conduct regular and on-going monitoring of each participant through quarterly and/or monthly visits virtually or in the office as needed
  • Facilitate reminders to each participant of their upcoming court hearing and any changes to established court dates
  • Support assigned participant with school enrollment and organizations locally
  • Inform participants of their legal rights, responsibilities, and obligations
  • Ensure that assigned participant attend all scheduled court hearings, if needed provide transportation assistance to assigned participant
  • Develops individual departure plans to assist participants with transition.
  • Document all communication and case updates via MVM’s case management system
  • Assistance with repatriation support in collaboration with Community Resource Coordinator (CRC)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or an equivalent degree in Psychology, Sociology, or other relevant Behavioral Science
  • 2 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in case management work
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Available to travel, as needed
  • Clean criminal background check
