CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – A group of coaches and employees from Campbellsville University’s athletic department will speak at the March 3 virtual chapel service at 10 a.m. regarding “Fields of Faith.”

“Campbellsville University has a very active and successful athletic program with coaches who have fully bought into the concept that is ‘more than a game.’ From the athletic director, Jim Hardy, to the graduate assistants, I believe there is a mission to see life change in our athletics department,” Jamie Lawrence, executive director of ministry and church outreach and campus minister, said.

The panel will consist of six individuals: Perry Thomas, head football coach; Ginger High-Colvin, head women’s basketball coach; Beauford Sanders, associate athletic director and head baseball coach; Eric Graves, coordinator of athletic academic support and head bowling coach; Keri Coots, assistant athletic trainer; and Corbin Harris, assistant men’s and women’s cross country/track coach and broadcast sports.

“With so many within our student body being athletes they have the unique opportunity to invest time and character development into these students. Having served as a head coach myself, I can say first hand that these are some of the best coaches anywhere. Not because of a win-loss record, but because of the mission they have accepted,” Lawrence said.

All chapels are televised on WLCU (Comcast Cable channel 10 and digital channel 15), streamed on Campbellsville University’s Facebook page and wlcutv.com and can be found at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGOyyKyrGBpSx8-uXa4NRtw.

Campbellsville University is a widely acclaimed Kentucky-based Christian university with more than 13,500 students offering over 100 programs of study including Ph.D., master, baccalaureate, associate, pre-professional and certification programs.
