CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – William “B.J.” Senior, of LaGrange, Ky., has been elected as the 2019 president of the Campbellsville University Board of Alumni.
The Board of Alumni is a group of Campbellsville University graduates appointed to create an environment that keeps alumni connected with Campbellsville University and to raise money for student scholarships.
As president of the Board of Alumni, Senior will preside over the bi-annual meetings, encourage board members to be active and be a cheerleader for Campbellsville University.
Senior has been a part of Campbellsville University for a while, as he was a graduate of Campbellsville College in 1968 and has served as a member of the Campbellsville University Board of Alumni for several years.
After graduating from Campbellsville College, Senior taught at Florida Central Academy, then moved back to Kentucky in 1969 working as a circulation manager for the Louisville Courier-Journal in Paducah and in Louisville. He met his wife, Vicki, during this time and they have lived in LaGrange and Oldham County since 1982.
He has been involved in community projects to feed and help the poor and he mentors many young people toward obtaining college degrees and continuing their education. He always talks about Campbellsville University’s programs and benefits, never tiring of bestowing the numerous accolades of his alma mater.
Senior is the owner of Senior & Senior Realtors, Inc. in LaGrange, Ky, and manages residential properties for several clients including Campbellsville University’s properties in Oldham County, Ky. In 2017, he and his wife, Vicki, facilitated the leasing of Campbellsville University’s second Louisville Education Center.
