CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville University’s tenure and promotion committee and the academic committee of the board of trustees has granted tenure to Dr. Kenneth Hollis, associate professor of theology and director of marriage and family therapy, on April 16.

Hollis has taught as an associate professor of theology at Campbellsville University since 2014.

Before Campbellsville University, Hollis a pastor at Beechland Baptist Church Kentucky, of Louisville, Ky., from 1991 to 2014.

He received his Ph.D. in Christian Counseling and Marriage and Family Studies in 2003 as well as his Doctor of Ministry degree in Family Ministry in 1990 from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

He also received Master of Divinity in Pastoral Care and Counseling from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1987 and his Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Louisville.

He graduated from University Christian in 1976.

He is the son of the late Betty and Jerry Hollis and is the husband of Doretta Hollis, and they have two children, Tracy Yates and Ashley Summers.
