CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – “We want to provide a better understanding of the history and foundation of Campbellsville University,” Jeannie Clark, general manager of WLCU-TV/FM, assistant professor of broadcasting and director of broadcast services, said.
The Rewind Back in Time event will be broadcast on Friday, Oct. 23 at 4 p.m. as part of the university’s virtual Homecoming celebration.
A deep dive has been taken into Campbellsville University archives to find old photos from when the institution began as Russell Creek Academy.
Using this information, several key figures involved in directly shaping CU will be talking about the journey which has brought about the university we know today.
“It’s all about learning where we come from, where we are now and where we are going,” Clark said.
The event will be available to watch on the Homecoming website at https://forms.campbellsville.edu/alumni/homecoming2020/, as well as televised on WLCU Comcast Cable channel 10 and digital channel 15 on Friday, Oct. 23, at 4 p.m.
