CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville University’s chapel Wednesday, Jan. 27 will feature a panel discussion on “Depression and Anxiety” highlighting some of the university’s mental health professionals.
Dr. Scott Wigginton, associate director of Campbellsville University’s Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy Program and professor of pastoral ministries; Dr. Ken Hollis, associate professor and director of marriage and family therapy at CU; Nikki Erwin, marriage and family therapy clinical director/lead professor of marriage and family ministries; and Erin Jarrett, director of counseling services at CU, to speak at chapel.
Wigginton has been serving at Campbellsville University since 2004. Previously, he served as the executive director of Life Care Counseling Center and counseling minister at Walnut Street Baptist Church in Louisville, Ky.
He also previously taught Christian counseling at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Boyce College. He received his Master of Divinity, Master of Theology and Doctor of Philosophy from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Western Kentucky University.
Wigginton is an approved supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, as well as a clinical member of the American Group Psychotherapy Association and a fellow with the American Association of Pastoral Counselors.|
He has been married to his wife, Elizabeth, since 1986 and they have three children: Auburn, Hope and Caleb, who graduated from Campbellsville University in 2018.
Hollis has served three churches for over 35 years as a senior pastor and minister of education. He is a licensed marriage and family therapist. Hollis has worked at Campbellsville University since 2014.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from the University of Louisville and his Master of Divinity in Pastoral Care and Counseling as well as his Ph.D. in Christian Counseling and Marriage and Family Studies from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
He has been married to his wife, Doretta, for nearly 40 years, and they have two daughters, two grandsons and one granddaughter.
Erwin has been employed at Campbellsville University since 2016. She received her Bachelor in Church Music in 1985 and Master in Church Music in 1990 from Campbellsville College and her Master of Science in Counseling in 2009 from Campbellsville University.
She is married to Scott Erwin, international student advisor at the Louisville Education Center, and they have two sons, Joshua and Jordan Erwin.
Jarrett was named director of counseling services in 2020. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2014 and her Master of Arts in School Guidance Counseling in 2016 from Spalding University.
Jarrett received her Master of Marriage and Family Therapy from Campbellsville University in 2017.
