CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – For the first time in school history, Campbellsville University has surpassed 750 fully-online students.
Dr. Shane Garrison, dean of online education, said, “We have been working very hard to bring excellent academic programs online, knowing that these programs have the potential to change lives forever.”
Garrison said, “The 21st century world radically changed as a result of the information age and the advent of the internet. The explosion of online education is a prime example of this shift.
“I am very thankful that Campbellsville University, under the leadership of our president Dr. Michael Carter, as well as others, set a vision early on to embrace online education. “We can see the impact online education will have on the future of Campbellsville University and its mission to bring Christian higher education to all parts of the commonwealth, to all corners of the United States and potentially around the globe.”
