CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Dr. Beverly Ennis, associate professor of education at Campbellsville University, has been granted tenure, according to an announcement from Dr. Michael V. Carter, president of Campbellsville University.

Ennis of Greensburg, Ky., received her Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Campbellsville College in 1972, where she was named Miss Campbellsville College. She has served at Campbellsville University in the School of Education since 2006.
She is a 1967 graduate of Greensburg High School.
In 1976, she received her master’s from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Ky. Her Ph.D. is in educational leadership and organizational development from the University of Louisville-Western Kentucky University Cooperative Doctoral Program.
Ennis received Rank I certification from WKU in 1981.
Ennis served at Lindsey Wilson College from 2002 to 2006 as an adjunct professor in the education department.
She also served with the Campbellsville Board of Education as a mathematics teacher at Campbellsville Middle School for 12 years, a high school guidance counselor at Campbellsville High School for 13 years, and district administrator of instruction and federal programs from 1997 to 2006.
In 2002, Ennis was named the Chamber of Commerce Educator of the Year. In 1999, she was named the Business and Professional Woman’s Club Woman of Achievement.
She and her husband, Larry, have two grown children, Jaclyn and Jamie.
