CU Carver School holds pinning for Dec. 2011 graduates

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. –Campbellsville University’s Carver School of Social Work and Counseling held its pinning ceremony Dec. 16, 2011 in the Hawkins Athletic Center.

Dr. Michael Carter, president of Campbellsville University, addressed the graduates and affirmed the strength and integrity of the historic program of which they are now members. He said, “As a Carver School graduate you are joining a prestigious group with an internationally known heritage.”

Debbie Carter, assistant professor of social work, introduced Bachelor of Social Work graduates and practicum supervisors to be pinned. Bachelor of Social Work degree recipients were: Jessica Adkins, Hodgenville, Ky.; Laurie Bryant, Liberty, Ky.; Alicia Burton, Nancy, Ky.; Cynthia Dishman, Monticello, Ky.; Candace Dye, Campbellsville, Ky.; Bethany Gray, Campbellsville, Ky.; Amanda Kanode, Campbellsville, Ky.; Kasi Morrow, Bronston, Ky.; and Amber Rich, Columbia, Ky.

Master of Social Work graduates and practicum supervisors were introduced by Dr. Candace Hansford, associate professor of social work. Master of Social Work degree recipients were: Kimberly Davis, Benjamin Ellard and Jessica Young, all of Campbellsville, Ky.

Campbellsville University is a widely acclaimed Kentucky-based Christian university with more than 3,500 students offering 63 undergraduate options, 17 master’s degrees, five postgraduate areas and eight pre-professional programs.
