CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Phoebe Williamson of Louisville, Ky., has been employed as assistant professor of education at Campbellsville University’s Louisville Education Center, according to an announcement from Dr. Michael V. Carter, president of Campbellsville University.
Williamson has a master of science in communication disorders, a master of education with an interdisciplinary early childhood education certificate (Rank 1), and educational specialist.
Williamson is working on her doctorate in early childhood and special education.
She graduated from Brescia College in 1980 and from the University of Louisville in 1989 and 2009.
She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and the Kentucky Speech-Language-Hearing Association (KSHA).
Williamson contributed to The Greenwood Dictionary of Education, published in 2003, and is a recipient of the Golden Apple Award.
She is the daughter of Jose and Rose Rosimo of Kapaau, Hawaii. She is married to Jimmy Williamson, and they have four grown children: Dawn, Aaron, Jeremy and Phillip.
