CAMPBELLSVILLE UNIVERSITY TO BEGIN SECOND EIGHT WEEK
CLASSES IN HODGENVILLE

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville University Hodgenville is beginning new classes Monday, Oct. 19.
The Brockman Center at Hodgenville will also be represented at upcoming festivals, including Lincoln Days Oct. 3 and the Glendale Crossing Festival Oct. 17.
The classes being taught for the second eight weeks are: General Psychology at 6 p.m.-10 p.m. on Mondays, and English Composition II on Tuesdays from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
James Gribbins, admissions coordinator for CU-Hodgenville, invites those interested in being students to visit the Web site www.4CUGRAD.COM or to call 877-4CU-GRAD.
“We are still accepting students at the site,” Gribbins said, “and we will be glad to answer any questions you have.”
Campbellsville University’s Brockman Center in Hodgenville is the home for the classes; however, work is being done on the building and classes are currently being held at City Hall.
“A lot of colleges can bring classes to a community, but we are bringing a campus. That means we are here to stay,” said Dr. Keith Spears, vice president for regional and professional education at Campbellsville University.
Sharon Gibson, a LaRue County resident and employee at CU, is organizing CU’s involvement in the Lincoln Days event. She asked that the public spread the word throughout the community who may be interested in learning about CU and taking classes.
Gibson said CU will have a booth at Lincoln Days Oct. 3 in which you can earn prizes by playing a trivia game. Prizes include stuffed Tigers.
“This is the first time CU has participated in Lincoln Days,” Gibson said. “Campbellsville University will have a booth and be in the parade. Our Tiger mascot will be in the parade and be available to have his picture made with everyone.”
