CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.—Campbellsville University students are serving across Kentucky and across the globe during summer break. Students are serving at various church camps, interning in a church, serving on ministry teams and serving overseas.
“Once again, many students at Campbellsville University are involved in carrying out the Great Commission in various points of service in Kentucky, the United States, and in other countries during the summer of 2012,” the Rev. John Chowning, vice president for church and external relations and executive assistant to the president, said.
“What a blessing and inspiration it is to see these young men and women connecting with various churches, missions organizations, camps, and other points of Christian service as they dedicate their summers to the sharing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others. All of us at Campbellsville University rejoice in the commitment of these students and will be praying for a tremendous harvest of lives for Jesus Christ as a result of their service,” Chowning said.
Students serving with Crossings Camps are: Rebecca Cook, a junior of Stanford, Ky.; Leslie Harper, a sophomore of Clinton, Ky.; Hunter Smith, a freshman of Munfordville, Ky.; Chasity Ballard, a junior of Bardstown, Ky.; Kelsie Doss, a junior of Lawrenceburg, Ky.;
Joseph McDonald, a freshman of Louisville, Ky.; Chelsi Netherland, a senior of Leitchfield, Ky.; Brett Sowell, a junior of Auburn, Ky.; and Audrey Wunderlich, a sophomore of Frankfort, Ky.
Students serving with CU Crew are: Ashley Buchanan, a junior of Louisville, Ky.; Kayla Howard, a freshman of Frankfort, Ky.; Matt Macon, a junior of Bedford, Ky.; Mitchell Monroe, a freshman of Morganfield, Ky.; and Mary Kate Young, a freshman of Paris, Ky.
Students serving as House Church interns in Campbellsville, Ky. are: Kyle Brewer, a freshman of Fairdale, Ky.; Ariel Lane, a freshman of Shelbyville, Ky.; and Andrew Neal, a freshman of Harrodsburg, Ky.

Jordan Cornett, a senior of Lexington, Ky., will serve in London and Dominican Republic; Maribeth Milburn, a junior of Lawrenceburg, Ky., will serve as Lowell Avenue Baptist Church intern in Campbellsville, Ky.; Jonathan McCoy, a junior of Ekron, Ky., will serve as minister of worship and music at Saloma Baptist Church in Campbellsville, Ky.;
Noah Blackburn, a sophomore of Jeffersonville, Ky., will serve with the North American Mission Board; Olivia Murphy, a freshman of Mt. Sterling, Ky., will serve with the North American Mission Board; Jonathan Kidd, a senior of Harrodsburg, Ky., will serve as pastoral intern at New Hope Baptist Church in Moreland, Ky.;
Sadie Mills, a junior of Hardyville, Ky., will serve at a special needs camp; Hannah Baird, a senior of Hartford, Ky., will serve in Ukraine and Ecuador; Dakota Rogers, a junior of Harrodsburg, Ky., will serve as a Vineyard Christian Fellowship intern in Campbellsville, Ky.; Jeremy Mathis, a junior of Campbellsville, Ky., will serve as youth pastor at Beech Grove Baptist Church;
Brandon Todd, a junior of Somerset, Ky., will serve as youth pastor at Duke Memorial Baptist Church in Somerset, Ky.; and Darryn Litton, a senior of Somerset, Ky., will serve as youth pastor at Somerset Community Church in Somerset, Ky.
In addition, several students are serving in Africa.
Three students are serving in Ghana, Africa on a two-month mission trip: Olivia Brainard, a senior of Somerset, Ky.; Hillary Anderson, a senior of Campbellsville, Ky.; and Anna Stepp, a junior of Grayson, Ky.
Another team is serving in Niger, Africa for two weeks: Ed Pavy, director of campus ministries of Campbellsville, Ky.; Megan Parson, a senior of Greensburg, Ky.; Tyler Tucker, a freshman of Greensburg, Ky.; Haley Probus, a sophomore of Lebanon, Ky.; Kaela Vessels, a senior of Vine Grove, Ky.;
