CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Dr. Richard E. Corum, associate professor of business administration (management) at Campbellsville University, has been granted tenure, according to an announcement from Dr. Michael V. Carter, president of Campbellsville University.

Corum has served at Campbellsville University since 2005. During that time he has served as associate dean of the School of Business and Economics, online MBA director and professor of management and marketing.
Corum has also taught at Rockford College, Rockford, Ill.; Wayland Baptist University, Lubbock, Texas; Lubbock Christian University, Lubbock, Texas; Sullivan College, Louisville, Ky.; and National Louis University, Wheaton, Ill.
Corum serves as President and CEO of Proverbs 4:2, a non-profit corporation dedicated to generating revenue to fund scholarships at Christian universities.
Other business experience includes serving as director of administrative services at Artistic Impressions in Lombard, Ill., and marketing support manager at Ameritech in Oakbrook, Ill.
Corum received his bachelor’s degree in history from the College of St. Francis in Joliet, Ill. He has two master’s degrees, one in biblical studies from Tyndale Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, and the other in management development of human resources from National Louis University in Wheaton, Ill. His doctorate is in business administration from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
His dissertation is titled, “The Impact of a Layoff on Survivors.”
Additionally, he has graduate hours in marketing from Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, Texas, and post doctoral hours in healthcare administration from Northcentral University in Prescott, Ariz.
Corum has served in many professional associations such as Kentuckiana Nursing Service, American Marketing Association, Academy of Management, the Christian Writers Guild and the Society for the Advancement of Management.
In 1998, he received the Academic Leadership in Principles of Achievement in Learning Award.
His wife, Ellen, serves as morning supervisor at the university post office.
