CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Everyone is invited to a Jay Lowder Harvest Ministries Student Rally Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 7 p.m. at Campbellsville University’s Powell Athletic Center, 203 Tiger Way, Campbellsville, Ky.
You can also get a chance to see Lowder in chapel at 10 a.m. before his scheduled night appearance. Chapel is in Ransdell Chapel at 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville.

The FIRST CLASS Band will perform at the rally and chapel. Both events are free and open to the public, but students in middle school and high school are especially invited. Youth leaders from all church denominations are encouraged to bring their students.
Jay Lowder Harvest Ministries is an organization crossing generational divides to share the message of Christ in a relevant manner.
Founded by Evangelist Jay Lowder, Jay Lowder Harvest Ministries has seen thousands commit their lives to Christ through the ministries’ citywide outreaches.
The Rev. Dave Walters, vice president for admissions and student services at Campbellsville University who also pastors Lowell Avenue Baptist Church, said, “We all need to embrace every chance we get to penetrate the culture of our youth.
“This is a great opportunity for youth leaders to expose their youth to a powerful communicator who has a passion for young people and the ability to connect with them. Our hope is that this event will be a catalyst to life changing experiences for the youth in this region.”
“It is not often that a small community like Campbellsville has the opportunity to hear from an evangelist such as Jay Lowder,” Dr. DeWayne Frazier, assistant vice president for academic affairs, said.
Frazier, who is working with Harvest Ministries to bring the event to Campbellsville, said, “Jay has preached to over two million students through a wide array of programs from crusades to school assemblies and now he is coming to Campbellsville to bring the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
“I have listened to many sermons from Brother Jay, and I am thoroughly impressed with the way he presents the gospel in a clear and concise manner.”
Frazier said he likes that Lowder “does not try to add anything to the message of the gospel. He understands that the gospel is as applicable today as it was two thousand years ago.”
Lowder said, “It is an honor to preach the Good News of Jesus Christ to the students and staff at Campbellsville University, one of Kentucky’s finest Christian institutions during the chapel service on Feb. 15.
“We also cherish, with great anticipation, working with the university, public schools and churches to bring to the community an exciting event Wednesday evening that offers answers to some of life’s most pressing questions.”
Lowder uses his personal story of transformation and a straight-forward style to reach a diverse group of students and adults. He has participated in more than 350 citywide outreaches and traveled the globe to football stadiums, schools, churches and even under shade trees in Africa to provide a message of hope to the hurting.
“Personally, I wait with anticipation to see what God has in store for this event,” Frazier said.
“The entire Campbellsville University family covets the prayers of our community as we prepare for this life changing event. Please pray that many lost will come to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ through this event.”
