Position Description:
Lancaster Baptist is looking for a Family Pastor who will seek to invest in our students from nursery age all the way through graduation (and beyond to college). Obviously, middle school and high school years are extremely influential years in the lives of students and we want to make sure we pour into those students as much as possible. Student Ministry (specifically Middle and High School ages) will continue to be a top priority.
An important component of a family ministry model is investing in parents. We want parents to understand and be equipped to fulfill the important spiritual role that they play in the lives of their children. Parents have the greatest spiritual responsibilities to train up their children in the wisdom and nurture of the Lord. We want to help equip parents to feel comfortable in being the spiritual leaders of their homes. We want to provide resources and encouragement for family worship in our homes. Additionally, we want to be intentional about connecting multiple generations within the church. We want our senior adults to know, love and be involved in the lives of our students and we want our students to know and love our senior adults.
