Role Summary/Purpose: GE Appliances internships are designed to offer a hands-on finance experience, exposure to strategic initiatives, and lessons in the role finance plays in achieving business objectives.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordination and execution of financial planning sessions (quarterly/annually)
- Assist in operating pulse reviews with management.
- Create process documentation where applicable
- General ledger research and variance analysis.
- Provide financial analysis (overhead/headcount)
- Balance sheet investigations.

Qualifications
Education
Required
Currently Pursuing or better in Finance or related field.
Must be full-time student currently enrolled in 4 year-college or university program pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, math or related field.
Must hold and maintain a minimum 3.0 out of 4.0 overall grade point average
Skills required – Excel/PowerPoint
Preferred
Good in 1-2 semesters of accounting and/or finance coursework completed
Detail-oriented and ability to meet deadlines
Self-motivated, responsible and disciplined.
