Primary Duties and Responsibilities: The incumbent is to present for work in a timely manner, groomed professionally, and perform their job function in accordance with all Spring View Hospital standards of performance, policies and procedures. Each employee is responsible for upholding the Spring View Hospital Values, namely: respect for every individual, delivery of quality service, constant pursuit of excellence and commitment to integrity. In addition, each employee is responsible to abide by and uphold the Spring View Hospital Standards of Performance.
The incumbent is responsible for specific HR functions considered vital to the daily operation of the HR department. The incumbent must possess broad knowledge of payroll and benefit systems, Human Resources policies and procedures, and must be able to explain systems and serve as a resource to answer questions and resolve concerns. This incumbent’s responsibilities include serving as the Hospital’s front door to incoming visitors, applicants, employees, and volunteers, and as such must display exquisite customer service skills. The incumbent assures the integrity of the Credentials Program of Spring View Hospital according to expectations defined in the Medical Staff Bylaws, Procedures, Rules and Regulations, TJC standards, Medical Staff Office Policies and Procedures and other regulatory agencies.
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, benefits, payroll, public relations or related field is preferred. Certification in Human Resources preferred. Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills, in both oral and written form. Highly organized with the ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects and tasks. Proficiency in computer and data base management, with comprehensive understanding of medical terminology. Must possess ability and discretion to maintain confidentiality of information regarding Medical Staff, Hospital Information, proceedings and disciplinary actions and other sensitive personal/professional information.
