CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB (PURPOSE):
To provide assistance about insurance affordability programs and coverage options so that kynectors can educate and assist Kentuckians with making informed decisions when selecting a health plan and enrolling in plans.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Assist individuals with the application and enrollment process for qualified health plans, Medicaid, KCHIP and any other services required by the contract.
- Educated individuals regarding the health plan available to them.
- Provide all services including, but not limited to, enrollment, outreach, events, and education activities required by the contract.
- Successfully complete all required training.
- Attend all regional or statewide meetings either virtually, telephonically or in person.
- Guide consumers in modifying their coverage due to a life changing event.
- Travel to consumer locations and local events to educate Kentuckians about the Exchange and kynect Benefits and assist with enrollment activities.
- Provide Unbiased guidance on the Exchange and kynect Benefits in a face-to-face setting.
- Conduct successful outreach events in each designated county within assigned region per month.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must drive and possess a valid driver’s license, drive a vehicle, and have reliable transportation.
- Must be willing to travel i.e., home visits, trainings, events, etc.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Submit to a Criminal Records Check, Child Abuse and Neglect (CAN), Motor Vehicle Check
- Submit to drug and alcohol testing.
- Must live in the ten (10) county service area.
