Job Description: Cairo Covenant School provides classroom instruction for grades K-12. The teacher job description includes planning and teaching the assigned grade levels, as well as working together with other staff members to meet the needs of the school such as field trips, yearly events, and projects.

Financial Options:
- Fully supported through a sponsoring organization or church.
- The school can provide a stipend toward the staff monthly support for those who many need this assistance or for those not raising support. The rate of stipend is dependent on your degree, specific qualifications, and years of experience in your designated job responsibilities.
Agreement: Two school years Spiritual Commitment
- Committed Christian, actively involved in ministry.
- Consistent participation in a local church.
- A role model of Christian character for the young people and their families.
Qualifications:
- Degree in education or subject area of teaching.
- Certification to teach in home country (preferred).
- Experience beyond student teaching is helpful but not required.

Campuses: The elementary school (KG through 5th grade) meets in the top two floors of our campus with a rooftop for a play area. The secondary school (6th through 12th grade) meets in the first two floors of our campus. The main office is located on the ground floor.
Enrollment: The student body is international and interdenominational. At present, the school consists mainly of English-speaking expatriate children. We offer classes for grades KG-12. We have 88 students enrolled for the 2017-2018 school year.
Calendar/Schedule: The academic calendar runs from mid-August to early June. Full-time faculty/staff hours are from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. School hours for students are from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Special Events and Activities: A variety of special events and activities are held each year including, field trips to famous sites, musical productions in English and in Arabic, Community Service projects for all grade levels, School Spirit Week, Fine Arts Day, 2K-5K Run, Science Fair, Family Picnic, Parent/Teacher Forums, College/Career Day and extracurricular activities with other like-minded schools in our city.
Discipline: CCS’s approach to discipline is a cooperative effort between parents and teachers for student character development. We use Biblical standards with positive reinforcement.
