CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The Campbellsville University Piano Ensemble will be giving its fall concert on Thursday, Nov. 10 at 8 p.m. in The Gheens Recital Hall of the Gosser Fine Arts Center at 210 University Drive, Campbellsville, Ky.
This semester’s ensemble consists of six students representing five countries. They are: Ayaka Ogawara of Fukuoka, Japan; Ziyu Zhou of Qingdao, China; Hsin-I Guo of Tainan, Taiwan; Wei-Sian Chen of Yongkang City, Taiwan; Danielle Souza of Recife, Brazil; and Mina An of Busan, South Korea.
The ensemble will be performing both original and transcribed literature on its concert for one piano, four and six hands, and two pianos, eight hands, according to Dr. Wesley Roberts, professor of music who directs the ensemble.
Composers include J. S. Bach, Handel, Schubert, Fodor, Gurlitt, Bizet, Persichetti, and Ibert.
