Happy Hollow Children’s Camp provides overnight camping activities, at their 900-acre Brown County camp, with major emphasis on children who are economically disadvantaged, have severe to moderate asthma, or are members of educational groups. Since 1951, over 40,000 economically disadvantaged children have attended Happy Hollow Children’s Camp. Happy Hollow offers several weekly summer camp programs for children from Indianapolis and surrounding counties. Each summer, Happy Hollow hires about 35 staff, college students from across the country and foreign countries.

LOCATION AND HISTORY
Happy Hollow Camp is in Nashville, IN approximately 1 hour south of Indianapolis, IN and 1 hour north of Louisville, KY. It sits on over 900 acres of rolling hills with miles of trails to hike and a private 20-acre lake that sits in the middle of the property. Happy Hollow Camp has been operating at its current location since 1951 and is an agency of the United Way and accredited by the American Camp Association.
CERTIFICATIONS
Camp provides free certification courses in CPR, first aid, lifeguarding, kayaking, canoeing, and high ropes. If you are already certified, it must be current through completion of employment.
